“The Dynamics of Elder Abuse” presentation at CUTPL

Nelson Chipman, sitting Marshall County Prosecutor, will be at the Culver-Union Township Public Library on Saturday, September 26th at 10:00 AM in the large meeting room for a program focusing on the detection and, hopefully, the prevention of elder abuse. Nelson will share his research on the topic with the community in the hopes of raising public awareness and reaching out to warn potential victims.  Nelson asks that you remember these two numbers: 10,000 and 70.  He will tell you the significance of those numbers at the beginning of his presentation.
We hope you’ll join us at CUTPL on Saturday morning, September 26th to meet Nelson and learn how we can be better advocates for ourselves and our loved ones. This promises to be quite an informative program! The program is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact Reference/Adult Services Manager, Dana Thomas at 574-842-2941 or dthomas@culver.lib.in.us.
