Have you heard of Web 2.0? How about Library 2.0? Well, we are currently in the information age where more and more is done via the internet, and Your Library Experience is no different. Social Networking like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Youtube, Blogs, e-mail and RSS feeds, ListServs, and sharing sites like digg, delicious and librarything make the web an interactive experience. Today, I begin an adventure which allows library patrons the opportunity to make the library experience their own. Add content, talk about books, videos and music, and make the library web site your own. Eventually, there will be links and your words can be viewed by all library patrons, and even subscribed to as an RSS feed. Thanks for taking part in the new, interactive Culver-Union Township Public Library. We've been around since 1915 and hope to be on the cutting edge of library advancement by age 100. We are well on our way, thanks to you.
